Working With Roger

Do I have to commit to anything by calling, texting, or emailing?

Short answer

No. A call, text, or email creates zero obligation. Formal commitment only happens when you sign a written listing or buyer representation agreement — and those terms are spelled out in writing before you sign.

No. A phone call, text, email, or in-person meeting creates zero obligation.

You can: - Ask questions about your situation, the market, or your options. - Get a free home valuation and a realistic market read. - Walk a property with Roger and decide not to buy it. - Talk through a family-transition scenario and decide not to sell at all. - Ask for a referral to a different realtor if Roger isn't the right fit.

None of those create a contract, retainer, or commitment.

Formal commitment only happens when you sign a written agreement:

- Listing agreement (if you choose to sell with Roger): states the listing price, duration of the listing period (typically 90-180 days), the commission rate, and termination terms. You read it, you understand it, you sign it. - Buyer representation agreement (if you choose to have Roger represent you as a buyer): increasingly common in California; spells out duties and any compensation if you transact.

Both types of agreements have termination clauses. Roger believes in client-side termination rights and won't force a relationship that isn't working.

If you've felt pressured by other realtors, by family-transition consultants, or by "we buy ugly houses" investors — a call to Roger will be a different experience. There's no script, no pressure, no commitment required just to talk through your situation.
